'Father Langston' in CSI
Watched a CSI episode last night where the CSI's visited Ray at his home. Nick spots his 'family tree' in a room and the camera focuses on these pics behind Ray.
I love it when people use something real for a prop. (eee, it's the finale next week!)
I believe this is a picture of Laurence Fishburne on the set of Apocalypse Now.
He was underage when he signed on to do the movie, lying that he was 18 when he was actually 14 or 15. Emilio Estevez and Larry (as he was known then) got up to a lot of fun on set in the Philippines!
I believe this may be a Mary Ellen Mark photograph as she does a lot of 'character study' portraits on set of films that she's documenting. She took the below picture of Larry for her "Seen Behind The Scene" book, one of my favourite film photography books. Stunning portraits in black and white.

Showcasing two of my recent addictions - Coca Cola and CSI.
I've always loved Coke before, but for some reason lately, I've been on a major Coke kick.
As far as CSI goes, Spike TV has fathered my downfall, as they run like six or so CSI episodes a night. Even though I've seen most all of them, I've noticed that the more you watch an episode, the more you pick up on.
What really sucks is when I get home from work, turn on CSI, and then pass out in the last ten minutes of an episode, waking only halfway into the next episode, not knowing what is going on and feeling generally miffed that I never got closure on the who done it from the previous episode that was on.
